Taxes
Wow. On my last paycheck I had $729 dollars withheld for taxes, social security, etc. The majority taken out was for federal income tax. In fact, so far this year I have paid more in federal income tax than on any single living expense. I pay more in federal income tax than I pay for rent, transportation, food or health care.

have you thought about adjusting your w2? maybe they're withholding too much. you could always cut the gov't off and then pay quarterly taxes.
