Finally gets whats coming to him

I can't tell you how long I have been waiting to see this. He got a good punch in too. The most interesting part of the video is when AJ says that they have been friends for a long time. Thats the most blatant lie I have ever heard! 2 things wrong with that statement:
1. AJ doesn't have many (or maybe any) friends.
2. Friends don't get punched in the face.

Thats what you get for mailing it in when you played for the Giants. Plus, it takes a lot to be so hated on that team that they get rid of you. He made Barry look like the model teammate.

I've watched this about 50 times, and it still makes me smile every time I see it. From now on, when I have a bad day, I will just come home and watch this over and over until I feel better.

Many pro athletes mail it in from time to time so I would argue that he did not deserved to be punched for that reason. He does however deserved to be punched for hitting his trainer in the balls when he was with the Giants. The karate chop of home plate after the collision would be another reason to punch him.

i love aj. seriously. the guy can swing a bat, is a great catcher, and a funny character. i was pissed when the giants acquired him and immediately went to arbitration, and then let him go after the season. mathenny's decent enough, but aj, that guy was good stuff.

oh, and i did appreciate a baseball player actually throwing a punch for once. i hate baseball fights. i'll run out, grab you, we'll dance a bit, everyone will stand around in a blob and do nothing. if i'm so mad, i should go out and take a swing instead of trying to tackle you or grab you around the waist.

What is it, like 60 some odd feet from home plate to the mound? I think I'd go for the tackle too. Seeing a punch coming for that long makes it a lot easier to side-step and counter.

You'll notice in the video that the first thing the dude did was sort of wrap AJ up and then throw the punch. You gotta get them in position before you ravage them with your knuckles, Ed.

no, no adam, the baseball wrap is essentially the anti-fight move. it's like, "i'm mad, let's fight," but then instead of fighting they run out and hug each other, and never throw a punch.

this, on the other hand, includes a clutch, and a bit of a sucker punch.
